Rural Age Concern Darent Valley (RACDV) provide an extensive and professional Private Chiropody/Podiatry Service to eligible people over retirement age, or in some cases over 55 years of age, who reside within the RACDV area of benefit Both the RACDV Private & some NHS clinics available are listed below. Client contribution for private treatment is shown below against each clinic with the service administered and subsidised by RACDV (client contributions). Appointments are required at all Clinics and may be arranged direct to the Chiropodist/Podiatrist, to the Age Concern Office, or via the applicable Day Centre. Clients should be aware that they may be entitled to free NHS treatment at a NHS clinic, but the location of the nearest NHS clinic eligible may be difficult for some to get to or a waiting list may exist. Housebound clients are entitled to free NHS treatment at home via their GP - but you will need to be assessed as genuinely housebound and again waiting times or availability may not be suitable for some. Please contact the Age Concern office for any further information or assistance you may require on private treatment or your GP or the NHS for NHS treatment or for locations and times of NHS Chiropody Clinics in the local area. Treatment at RACDV Clinics at RACDV & Practitioners discretion. Practitioner Mrs P Murrin is a fully registered, qualified and very proficient practitioner with in excess of twenty years practice.
