Details of grants for the maintenance or improvement of property occupied by the elderly or disabled, or grants for the building of extensions to properties for the occupation of elderly or disabled persons, may be obtained from local Councils or from the Care & Repair Service of the Bailey Housing Association. An Age Concern Information Sheet No. 17 is available for details of Social Housing for the elderly within the area where property may be available for rent or exchange, or for purchase under Shared Ownership or Right to Buy Schemes.
