Some are mail order companies and some are local stockists. Whilst some of these are known to Age Concern as reputable concerns, we cannot and do not recommend any of those listed and cannot be held responsible for any goods, services or private transactions carried out with any of the bodies listed. You are advised to make your own enquiries and to obtain several quotes from several sources to compare suitability, price, service, quality and delivery and to choose the supplier that may best suit your requirements. Be aware of potential commercial high pressure selling, particularly during home visits. Equipment purchased for disabled persons is normally free of VAT.

Age Concern also operates an extensive Disable Aids Loan Scheme where many items of equipment can be viewed, loaned or tried out, and at times a variety of used Disabled Aids for purchase at reduced cost.
